EXPLOITATION INJUNCTION ADVOCACY

Summary: The webinar will lay out the practical aspects of filing the temporary injunction petition, obtaining and admitting evidence at the final hearing, and unique uses of the injunction to avoid protracted civil litigation and guardianship. We will review the different practices around the state, and give examples of orders that have been entered by Courts to stop continued exploitation. We will also offer suggestions for provision insertions into DPOA documents for Pre Need Consents to Exploitation along with separate Pre Need Consents Against Exploitation forms for use in our practices.
